Shot in Toronto, “Silver Man” was almost cancelled days before production due to financing issues. Fortunately, everything worked out and the film was a relatively smooth shoot, though we did lose a day and a half of the eighteen day schedule due to bad weather.
Eugene Levy was a joy to work with as was the rest of the cast.
“Silver Man” was a quirky little indie project that played at a number of film festivals, including Rhode Island International, Raindance in London and Figuera La Foz in Portugal. It won Best Film and Best Director at the Planet Indie Film Festival in Toronto, and Jury Prize for best feature at the Tambay Film Festival in Tampa, Florida.
“Silver Man” can often be seen on Canadian television and was recently released on DVD in the US by Echo Bridge Entertainment.
